EDT lesson 1:

Assignment: Walk around your own car and familiarise yourself with primary, secondary and tertiary controls alongside reading a bit about NCT, Motor Tax and Insurance. practice DSSSM (Cockpit drill) which is Doors, Seat, Seatbelt, Steering and Mirrors.  

EDT lesson 2:

Assignment: Drive for about 1 hour around a calm area close to your home, carrying GOSHO, practicing your position on left and right turns alongside positioning straight in your lane (Left of centre).

EDT lesson 3:

Assignment: Drive for about 1.5 hours, change lanes when possible applying MSMM every time - Mirror, Signal, Mirror, Move.

EDT lesson 4:

Assignment: Drive for around 1.5 hours, going through roads with traffic lights, practice progression on straight and merging from Minor to Major roads without hesitation. (When it's safe to do so).

EDT lesson 5:

Assignment: Drive for around 2 hours, going through few roundabouts and mini roundabouts, practice turning right on traffic lights.

EDT lesson 6:

Assignment: Drive for 2 hours on roads with traffic lights, ramps, potholes, pedestrian walks and roundabouts.

EDT lesson 7:

Assignment: Practice three point turnabout and go to more fast paced roads if comfortable.

EDT lesson 8:

Assignment: Drive for around 1 hour in a crowded area, reading the road, checking the mirrors and staying calm (Remember: everyone is trying to get home safely).

EDT lesson 9:

Assignment: Practice Reverse around the corner (4 or 5 times) alongside driving for 2 hours and changing lanes without prompt.

EDT lesson 10:

Assignment: Drive for 1 hour on 50km/h and 60km/h roads, keeping your speed under the speed limits.

EDT lesson 11: 

Assignment: Drive for 2 hours around the test centre you want to take your test in (You can use the example route on the routes page). Practice both three point turnabout and reverse around the corner in calm and safe areas.

EDT lesson 12:

Assignment: This is where you combine all your skills together and add night drive to them, try to get some night driving experience. Make sure to go through traffic lights, roundabouts, practice the two manoeuvres, drive in slow speed roads - 30km/h - and drive in 50km/h to 60km/h roads.
